Flagging and Payment Requirements
Flags must be placed and maintained by dust control recipient.
Full payment must be received by May 1 to ensure your first application.
Accepted payment methods include:
Credit or debit card via QuickBooks payment link
Credit or debit card by phone
Check, cashier’s check, or money order
Please be sure to include any applicable county fees with your payment.
Decatur,Wayne, Ringold
Residents of Decatur, Wayne, and Ringgold Counties are required to place and maintain white Midwest Dust Solutions flags during the dust control season, May 1 through October 1.
Flags are available at the appropriate County Engineer’s Office.
Each application area requires four (4) flags:
One flag on each side of the road at the beginning of the application area
One flag on each side of the road at the end of the application area
All flags must be clearly visible, including above tall grass or roadside vegetation.
To ensure accurate application, please pace off the distance paid for. As a guideline, one full step equals approximately three (3) feet.
Henry,Davis, Van Buren
Residents of Henry, Davis, and Van Buren Counties are required to place and maintain white Midwest Dust Solutions flags during the dust control season, May 1 through October 1.

Residents of Lucas County are required to place and maintain black fabric flags mounted on wooden posts during the dust control season, May 1 through October 1.

One flag on each side of the road, placed on the traffic side of the application area
All flags must be clearly visible, including above tall grass or roadside vegetation.

Appanoose
Residents of Appanoose County are required to place and maintain orange material flags mounted on wooden postsduring the dust control season, May 1 through October 1.
